Whee! + a minor vent...

Ok so I'm in an incredibly good mood!  Got to meet up with an awesome artist from here :   We went for drinks had a blast!  We were tossin ideas back n forth for a few fics she's writing.  Plus she totally got me in the mood to finish work on a fanfic I've had on the back burner.  Can't wait to get crackin on it.  I'll probly post it here eventually.  So yup, most definitely in a good mood.

And now for a minor yet semi-serious Vent:

To all you wonderful fanfic writers out there, how I just wanna bow before you talent and then strangle you when you abandon a story half way through.  Grr to you!  
Your wonderful words are like sweet ambrosia but then turn deadly addictive and cause our hearts to break when we realize the stories have died and the authors have gone missing.  Please spare some kindness to your fellow worshipers...  If life gets busy or you just don't want to finish a particular story, let us know!  We understand that there is life outside these blissful flights of fantasy that you bring to life.  We understand that sometimes those creative juices just seem to dry up unannounced.  But that does not mean you can just abandon your faithful followers to life of hopelessly checking our faved stories, just hoping for the day they or their authors show signs of life.  Give us some hint, some clue as to whether you're going to continue or not.  Doesn't have to be much, maybe just a note after your latest chapter stating that either you're done with the story or life's to hectic to be able to post for a while.  Just don't disappear into that great author's abyss...

*pokes at those devilishly wonderful authors*  You know who you are.  You know what you must do...  

(Obviously I've been a lil overly addicted to fanfics as of late and came across soooo many authors who haven't updated in forever and have left some extremely amazing stories hanging out on the edge, just screaming to be finished.)
